Timberdeck’s products will slightly lighten over time to a beautiful weathered tone. This color tone shift is dependent upon exposure to sunlight and other environment factors. The weathering process begins upon installation and is generally complete within 8 weeks to 12 weeks.

Yes, it may scratched. You can use fine sandpaper to remove the scratches.

Yes, it will expand approximately 0.2% – 0.3% length wise. Uneven surface can be avoided with correct accesories and proper installation method.

8. How to remove ice and snow from the deck?
Use a broom to remove ice on the product, never use sharp edge tools to remove snow and ice on decking as it may damage the surface of the product. A metal shovel may scratch the deck which is not covered under warranty. Use calcium chloride or rock salt to melt the ice. Salt may leave a white residue on the deck, which can be removed by rinsing with water and soap.
